Conversion Rate Improvement Tips from Dell

Sam Decker, the Senior Manager of Marketing & eBusiness at Dell (who drove 4x growth in online conversion rates and consumer online sales of over $3 billion) talks about things that can increase conversion rates at ecommerce sites.

He says there there are six questions your customers will be asking themselves:

  1. Can I Find What I'm Looking For?
  2. Can I Find Something Interesting?
  3. Do I want This Product?
  4. Can I Get It For The Right Price?
  5. Can I Get It Easily?
  6. Do I Trust This Company?

Of course, this means you should ask yourself these questions first. If everyone who is trying to sell things online did this today, there would be a whole lot of site redesign going on tomorrow!
